Grantmaking 101: A Donor Workshop

In May 2008, an interactive gathering was held to help answer questions most frequently asked by donor advisors including:

  • How do I know my philanthropic dollars are being put to good use?
  • Is it bettter to spread out my giving among many worthy organizations or to give larger grants to fewer organizations?
  • There are so many organizations doing the same type of good work. How do I choose which one is best?
  • How can I tell if an organization is financially healthy?
  • In the era of Bill Gates-sized gifts, will my donation really make a difference?

Watch four excerpts from the Grantmaking 101 workshop below. View all of the video segments at http://www.youtube.com/vibrantvideo. See the sidebar for more information about this event.
